Agronomy

We contract directly with individual growers who are rigorously selected, providing them with continuous training and support through our specialized agronomists who oversee every stage from seed to mature plant.
Tobacco Identity Preservation Program (TIPP)
This initiative ensures all our tobaccos are non-GMO, maintaining the integrity of our products from cultivation to processing.
Socio-economic
support
We are actively involved in improving the socio-economic standards of our farmers, addressing issues such as discrimination and child labor, ensuring fair practices throughout our supply chain. Moreover, throughout the years we provide continuous financial support to our growers/farmers for upgrades and modernization. Our experts and agronomists set a strategic plan to annually promote changes in farming practices and mechanize the farming procedures where manpower is in shortage.

Our commitment to the environment extends to robust recycling programs, handling waste such as tobacco byproducts, mixed household waste, oils, papers, cardboard, batteries, and scrap metal.
Energy and
waste reduction
We focus on reducing energy consumption and minimizing waste production through new investments and optimizing existing processes across our facilities. As part of this commitment, we have invested in a new solar energy plant, reinforcing our efforts to lower our environmental footprint and promote more sustainable production practices.
Community engagement
Cultural and
humanitarian support
We are founding members of the CULTURAL SOCIETY OF NORTHERN GREECE as well as THEOPHANO FOUNDATION, and we actively support various cultural, educational, athletic, and health-related organizations. These include donations and sponsorships to museums, UNICEF, children's villages, hospitals, and emergency relief efforts for natural disasters. Our President Mr. Costas Gleoudis has served for more than a decade as a member of the Board of HELLENIC SOCIETY FOR ENVIROMENT AND CULTURE, based in Athens and our company is an active member of the above society as well as EUROPA NOSTRA.
